This is a 3-year residency with ACGME continued accreditation.  We are currently approved to accept 14 new residents per year.  Our mission is to provide a top-notch experience designed to prepare our graduates for the practice of Emergency Medicine at the highest level, from both a clinical and academic perspective.  Our faculty and residents are committed to the dual goals of delivering state-of-the-art emergency medical care while providing high-quality instruction and supervision in the science and the art of Emergency Medicine.

    Welcome to Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency program! This is a 3-year residency with ACGME continued accreditation. We are currently approved to accept 12 residents per year. Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center has a long history in post graduate medical education for physicians. Our primary aim for the Internal Medicine resident is a total commitment toward your development as either an internist for the practice of internal medicine or to prepare you for further training as a sub-specialist.

    Welcome to Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center’s Neurology Residency Program. Our mission is to provide an excellent educational and clinical experience in a strong academic and community setting, and to develop the highest quality, caring, and compassionate Clinical Neurologists. Our Faculty are committed to preparing the Neurology Residents and equipping the Residents with medical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to be confident in taking care of patients with neurological diseases. The Neurology residency is a three-year program following a preparatory year with Initial ACGME Accreditation. Potential for availability of the internship year is also included. We currently are approved to accept 4 residents per year.

We are currently approved to accept 3 new residents per year. Our mission is to provide the physician with the basic information, skill and motivation necessary to become a general Orthopedic surgeon. This program provides a broad exposure to orthopedic surgery cases in a tertiary center, as well as several community hospitals.

This is a 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular disease, our sponsor is the Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program with an excellent accreditation history. We are approved to accept 2 fellows per year. Our mission is to provide a clinically rigorous training program in general cardiology through a comprehensive curriculum to provide training in all major aspects of clinical cardiology with opportunities for involvement in clinical research.

At Mercy Health – St. Vincent, you will train in a tertiary Level I trauma center for adults and children. A 445 bed hospital that is home to five Life Flight air ambulances, an accredited Chest Pain Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has more than 77,000 ED visits annually. Mercy Health Children’s Hospital holds the highest designation for treating high risk mothers and babies in their Level III nursery.

Mercy has three outstanding community hospitals; two in the Toledo area, Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital and Mercy Health – St. Annes Hospital one in Perrysburg, Ohio.
